West Wave centre updates
Upcoming closure for maintenance
We’d like to let you know about upcoming maintenance work in the Leisure Pool Hall at West Wave, happening from Tuesday 28 October to Friday 7 November.
The work will be done in two phases, with different areas closed each week:
Week 1 (28 Oct – 1 Nov):
- Adult Spa
- Lazy River
- Hydroslide
- Steam Room
Week 2 (4 Nov – 7 Nov):
- Family Spa
- Toddlers Pool
- Water Features
- Wave Generators
Please note: The Wave Pool, Sauna, Main Pool, Hydrotherapy Pool, Fitness Gym and Group Fitness classes will all remain operational throughout the full two weeks.
What about my membership/10-visit pass?
- Swim It members you can suspend your membership for the two weeks. However if you wish to use another pool listed below*, please see our friendly team at the front desk.
- Swim Plus 10-visit passholders - you can suspend your pass on myLEISURE or by coming in to the centre.
*Members can use the following Auckland Council owned and operated centres on the North Shore:
- Albany Stadium Pool (adult spa pool and sauna)
- Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre (adult spa pool, steam room and sauna)
- Glenfield Pool and Leisure Centre (adult spa pool, steam room and sauna)
- Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre (adult spa pool and sauna)
If you are unable to use another centre during the closure, please email us with a suspension request by 24 October, or you can suspend your membership online via myLEISURE. Visit our website to see how you can suspend your membership online.
Learn to Swim customers
As the Toddlers Pool will be closed during week 2 of the shutdown only, all scheduled lessons will be moved to the ???
