Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre is your local Pakuranga spot for all things active — jump in!
Go for a swim in the leisure or lap pools, relax in the spa or sauna, work out in the gym. Get involved in one of our member fitness challenges, or get moving in a group fitness class.
There’s also a splash pool and fun and interactive outdoor splash pad open during the summer. The centre has a swim shop, a café and plenty of parking. For those with accessibility needs, a water wheelchair is available.
We are very proud of our vibrant one stop shop and the services we provide for our local community and visitors. We welcome your enquiries — you can use the contact us form or, even better, come and visit us and find out how we can help you get active your way.

Free swimming for 16 years and under
Young people across Auckland have free access to all council-owned pools. This initiative, for Aucklanders aged 16 years and under, means more of our region’s children and young people can be fit, healthy, and waterwise.*

Wristbands
Supervision wristbands will be issued on arrival at reception so that your child/ren are easily identified by our lifeguards.
- Caregiver of children 4 years and under must wear a wristband.
- All children aged 5-10 years and their supervising adult must wear a wristband.
Things to know before you come to the pool
- To keep our precious tamariki safe we have a pool supervision policy, which specifies minimum adult-to-child ratios.
- To make sure that we are both inclusive and respectful we have guidelines around what to wear in the pool.

Until then, the sauna may operate at temperatures less than 70°C for the first hour of operation each morning.

Mudi is a qualified and REPs registered Personal Trainer. His special training interests are strength training, weight loss, tone, hypertrophy, and injury rehabilitation.
Mudi believes in the power of exercise, and committing to healthy lifestyle habits to improve health and well-being. He prioritises his clients and supports and motivates them to be the best version of themselves – feeling great and having the
ability to move well with confidence.

Group fitness classes
Group fitness classes get you off the couch and interacting with our community. They also harness the group's energy to create a motivating, challenging, and totally addictive workout experience.
They're a great way to change things up and make the most of your workout!
Play your role
Keep everyone safe and healthy with good hygiene practice - here are a few friendly reminders of the basics:
- Bring your water bottle and towel - No towel = No workout!
- Bring your mat to any floor-based classes (e.g. yoga, Oxycore, Abs, etc.)
- Cover your coughs and sneezes (into your elbow or with tissues and dispose of these into the bin immediately)
- Wash your hands frequently
- Wipe equipment you have used - while our staff clean regularly, we need your help too (we have wipes and spray for you to use)
- Shower before you swim or jump into an aqua class (helps us keep our pools clean)
- And, stay home if you are unwell - play it safe!

- You'll be notified of any class cancellations by email/SMS
- You'll receive confirmation of a booked class in a form of an admission ticket.

Our two-hour pool party is available on Saturdays 2.30pm-6.30pm. The package includes exclusive use of the teaching pool which can accommodate up to 50 people.
Hire our inflatable obstacle course
Did you know that you can also book the aqua run, our inflatable obstacle course?
The aqua run can be hired Fridays and Saturdays, after 7pm only in the Leisure Pool for an additional cost due to booking outside of normal hours. Please get in touch to request a quote.
Please note: Our party packages and inflatable obstacle course are currently unavailable for hire due to staffing restrictions - we will update this page as soon as we have these services available again.

Regular hirer discount
We offer a 20 per cent discount off the standard hourly rate to regular hirers.
Regular hirers are individuals or organisations who hire a venue we manage 10 times or more over the calendar year (1 January to 31 December)
Community group discount
We offer a 30 per cent discount to community groups.
For groups that meet certain criteria, community groups can get 30 per cent off the standard hourly rate.
These discounts can be stackable using reverse compounding methodology and cannot be added together. Maximum discount of 55 per cent.
