West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre

Did you know West Wave was purpose-built for the XIV Commonwealth Games of 1990? If not, you’ll soon realise it after visiting our pool complex – extensive is the right word for it!

If you’re a keen swimmer you’ll love training in our lane pool, and if you’re more of a keen relaxer you’ll be right into our spa pool, sauna and steam room. There’s something for everyone in between as well, like a hydroslide and wave pool for those looking for something a bit more extreme (both a great way to keep the kids entertained on a rainy Auckland afternoon!)

Additional pools include a dive pool with 1m, 3m and 5m diving boards and a hydrotherapy pool that can be used on your own or in a class to help with arthritis or injury recovery.
