Recreation is the name of the game at Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre. If you’re keen to have fun and get active in a social setting, check out all the options available to you – from friendly sports competitions to one-on-one sports like badminton. Whether you’re a preschooler, child, adult, senior or any age in between, we’ve got a whole heap of brilliantly fun programmes and options. Our courts are also available for private use if you just want to come in and have some casual fun – it’s up to you!
School holiday programmes
Join us at Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre and become part of our Leisure Kidz crew during the school holidays! Your parents can relax knowing that you’re safe, happy and having a blast with your peers and our trained staff, and our school holiday programmes feature a range of super-fun activities, from pool days to trip days, baking and centre challenges. It’s highly affordable too!

Thank you for the feedback – we listened and as a consequence, we will be offering complimentary after programme care from 5pm to 6pm on a trial basis. If this proves popular we will implement in the future.
Recreation programmes are run during term time for preschoolers, school-age children and adults. Activities range from Gym’n’ees, Sporty Kidz and Pedal and Play for preschoolers, to gymnastics and indoor sports for school age children (Years 1 to 13) and adults too.
Kids and adults alike can get involved in our friendly social sports leagues! With miniball, netball and basketball all on offer you can choose the sport that you like best. Grab some mates and get your own team together to enter – we look forward to showing you how fun our friendly competition is!
Term 4 2017
Welcome to term 4, 2017! Adult leagues start in week one with the school age leagues starting week two. The first games are grading rounds and the second games are the start of competition.

We’ve got a great range of recreation and social programmes for seniors, including the highly successful Never2Old fitness programme developed by AUT, badminton and more. Work on your cardio, flexibility and balance alongside your peers in a supportive, friendly environment!
