Recreation is the name of the game at Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre. If you’re keen to have fun and get active in a social setting, check out all the options available to you – from friendly sports competitions to one-on-one sports like badminton. Whether you’re a preschooler, child, adult, senior or any age in between, we’ve got a whole heap of brilliantly fun programmes and options. Our courts are also available for private use if you just want to come in and have some casual fun – it’s up to you!
School holiday programmes
Join us at Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre and become part of our Leisure Kidz crew during the school holidays! Your parents can relax knowing that you’re safe, happy and having a blast with your peers and our trained staff, and our school holiday programmes feature a range of super-fun activities, from sports and beach days to trip days, baking and centre challenges. It’s really affordable too!
Fill in the enrolment form – it’s editable so you can type in your information, print and sign (please read and sign the terms and conditions too) and email to us or pop in to our reception to make your booking. NB: bookings ARE NOT confirmed until payment is received.
AFTER PROGRAMME CARE IS HERE TO STAY!
We now offer complimentary after programme care from 5pm to 5.30pm on all our holiday programme days. Thank you to everyone who has supported this service so far.
Recreation programmes are run during term time for preschoolers, school-age children and adults. Activities range from Gym’n’ees, to Pedal and Play for preschoolers, to gymnastics and indoor sports for school age children (Years 1 to 11) and adults too.

Kids and adults alike can get involved in our friendly social sports leagues! With miniball, netball and basketball all on offer you can grab some mates and get your own team together – we look forward to showing you how fun our friendly competition can be!

Term 4 2019
Adult leagues and school age leagues start up again in term 4. Adult leagues start the first week of term, and school age the 2nd week (see dates below). The first games are grading rounds and the second games are the start of pool play competition.

Once pool play starts, please see the Results to date points table, this shows where teams sit in the league – this is updated every Friday with the pool play results.
Please contact us immediately if you believe a mistake has been made with your team’s scoring. Results posted will be deemed correct one week after posting.
We’ve got a great range of recreation and social programmes for seniors, including the highly successful Never2Old fitness programme developed by AUT, badminton and more. Work on your cardio, flexibility and balance alongside your peers in a supportive, friendly environment!
